Zebrawood

Just like a Zebra, this wood type is known for it's dark brown/black stripes. The tree itself is found in West Africa, specifically in areas with rich volcanic soil. It towers higher than forest canopy and it has small leaves that grab lots of sunlight due to it's height. The way the tree twists and turns causes the grain to interlock which gives it an even more unique look within the African Forests. Zebrawood, like all of our wood, is reclaimed or recycled from responsible sources.

Zebrawood is also used a lot in homes and home decor (especially in the kitchen) as the unique look the grain and stripes offers a look that is a conversation starter while it is also very durable.
